Gympie Bypass Project

Gympie Bypass – Heavy Haulage Project

Mega Heavy Haulage supported the Gympie Bypass project with the transport and coordination of large concrete bridge beams, including loads weighing approximately 80–100 tonnes and measuring up to 40 metres in length.

The project involved night-time transport and careful coordination to support the safe movement of these oversized loads.

The Challenge

Transporting large concrete bridge beams requires detailed planning around load dimensions, route conditions, access, scheduling and the requirements associated with oversized transport.

Mega's Role

Mega Heavy Haulage supported the project with transport-related coordination and personnel for the movement of the concrete beams, including steermen and loading labourers.
